About me

Kellie Kuenzle is an American journalist covering state violence, human rights abuses, and social justice movements across the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular concentration on Palestine. While based between Jerusalem, Cairo, and Washington, DC, she has reported on the displacement of Palestinian communities, the militarization of Israeli-backed-settler extremist movements, labor strikes, digital censorship, and the impacts of US foreign policy. Her work has been featured in various international digital publications, including The New Arab, Electronic Intifada, Mondoweiss, The Institute for Palestine Studies, Arab Center Washington DC, and the Cairo Review on Global Affairs. 

Kellie grew up in Connecticut but has lived in nine cities around the world, including Rome, Rotterdam, Barcelona, Mexico City, Ramallah, and New York City. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of London and is currently pursuing a master’s in American Journalism from New York University. Kellie has a working knowledge of several languages, including Arabic, Spanish, and Italian. Kellie has also served as an editor at the Cairo Review on Global Affairs based in Egypt.
